Syndicate isn’t just a revolutionary technology company, platform, and protocol—it’s a community of people, too. At Syndicate, this community means the world to all of us. It’s our motivation, our inspiration, and our greatest resource. Because of that, we care about ensuring that it remains a community that we can all be proud of.
From the very start, we’ve all been in this together, building a culture with a set of guiding values like kindness, trust, honesty, mutual support, inclusivity, and positivity. To keep it that way, we’ve created this Community Standard—a set of ground rules that we ask everyone to adhere to. As a member of the Syndicate community and by using Syndicate, you agree to uphold these standards of conduct.
These standards apply not only to the content on the Syndicate platform, but also to all Syndicate spaces, including our community Discord, email conversations, in-person events, and any other mediums of interaction. Violators of these standards may be barred from participating in these spaces.
This isn’t an exhaustive list of what you should or shouldn’t do. Such a list is impossible to create. Rather, take it in the spirit in which it’s intended—a guideline that’ll help us keep Syndicate a community we can all be proud of. Use your best judgement. If you’re not sure if something is a good idea, it’s usually best to avoid doing it.
We’re all building the revolution together, and so it’s on all of us to speak up if something not right. Syndicate strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone raising a good faith concern to the Syndicate team.
